Did you know that because of your support for Kids Haven this year, we…

  • Loved, housed, fed, clothed, protected and educated over 160 children in our Kids Haven residence.
  • Helped over 60 young people find their pathway whether it was into the workplace or further studying, becoming entrepreneurs, trainees or through spending a day broadening their minds to what opportunities are out there.
  • Fed many families in the local communities through sustainable food gardens.
  • Offered food parcels and vouchers to those in need who came to our door.
  • Kept our pre-school running and loved seeing our little pre-schoolers thrive.
  • Raised awareness around gender-based violence prevention and offered family workshops including involvement in programmes aimed at raising good men.

Get donating before we close for a December rest

We will be taking a much-needed rest over December so please consider doing your Summer sort-out early before we close our offices.

The Bryanston Donation Centre will be closed from Saturday 20 December and will re-open on Monday 5 January. That means Friday 19 December will be the last day that we will be doing donation collections. If you would like us to come and collect donations from your home or offices please makes sure you contact Connie on connie@kidshaven.co.za or 011 7067959 as soon as possible so she can schedule your collection time in.

Our Charity Shops in Benoni will be closed from Wednesday 24 December and will re-open on Monday 12 January.

Donations will be received throughout December at Kids Haven in Benoni. The address is 38 Cranbourne Avenue, Benoni, should you wish to drop off donations there.

While our offices are closing, our childcare homes continue to care for our amazing children and we are so grateful to all of you for your unwavering support throughout the year.
